GRADE: 3  LENGTH: 1.7km

BUILT: 2015

GETTING THERE:

From the lower trailhead (to climb into the forest): From the Waitawa Link walking track beside Tarawera Road, or from the unofficial walking tracks between Pram Track and Rifle Range Road. Note - it's a rabbit warren of twists and turns in the unofficial walking tracks, best to either go with a local, or plan on spending a lot of time taking wrong turns before eventually (hopefully) finding the trail head.

From the upper trailhead (to descent out of the forest): On Tokorangi Pa Road, opposite the entry to K2 trail.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Shared use trail, 2-way traffic. A useful link to enter into the forest from Rotorua's Lynmore suburb. A steady climb on the way in with a couple of steep sections towards the end. It crosses over a loop of Tokorangi Pa road at the upper end - cross straight over to continue with As You Do trail.

GETTING OUT: Exits on Tokorangi Pa Road, virtually opposite the entry to K2 trail. Or roll down the gravel road to then link up with the top part of Katore Road and into the Corridor network of trails.

Please ride within your limits, and be aware that trails can change with weather and heavy use from race events effecting their difficulty. Ride Rotorua will in no way be liable for any injury or damages arising from riding any of the trails listed on the Ride Rotorua website.
