• 2010 AGM...THURSDAY MARCH 18 at 6PM Was at the Pig & Whistle, cnr Haupapa and Tutanekai Streets - 2009 reviewed, plans for the coming year and finances checked out

• SSWC 2010 - ROTORUA! Yep, it's true...VICKI & JOHN GOT RSSS THE 2010 WORLDS!!
Race day will be Saturday October 23...Entries opened at midnight (NZ Summer Time), December 31 (New Year's Eve) at SSWC10NZ
• ROTORUA SINGLESPEED SOCIETY (INC) 2009... • Two loads of gravel donated to Red McHale to help re-development of Tahi, Kid's Loop and new picnic area at intersection of Hill and Larch Roads.
• Donations of $1K each to RSSS members Vicki Butterworth of Hawkes Bay and John McCartney of Queenstown to help with their travel to 2009 SS Worlds in Durango...
• September: Tahi/One trail adopted...
• August: Rock Drop trail redevelopment has started...Red McHale and the Department of Corrections crews have tidied up the climbs and the exit onto Pohutaroa Road.
The first Society working bee cut 300 metres of Grade 2/3 trail bypassing the Grade 5 first Rock Drop - then enjoyed some fine Meat Shoppe steak and spicy sausages and a couple of Speights Summits...
Oh, and apparently we've got the World Champs in 2010...
• APRIL 25: NZ S1NGLESPEED CHAMPS 09 WERE RUN & WON... Tim Wilding and Annika Smail took the titles and the tattoos... everyone else had fun...
