2010 Conservation Week - Rotorua MTB Club |

 This year the Rotorua MTB Club Conversation Week event is a working bee on Tuhoto Ariki track.
The objective is to drain and fill a nasty hole 5 mins ride into the track, then proceed on to the clearing where we plan to re-align the track past the two bog holes just after exiting the clearing.
The proposed re-alignment will reveal a spectacular old Rata spar while avoiding two spots that rarely dry out.
Southstar Shuttle will provide a free ride to the gate on Tawa Rd at 8.45am - meet at the Hill Rd gate 'carpark'.
Shuttle will also provide a lift back down to Pipeline Rd for volunteers after the working bee.
WHEN: Sunday 19th September 8.45am
WHERE: Assemble at Hill Rd Gate off 8-mile Rd by 8.45am
WHAT TO BRING: Bring a pack and liner [to carry some pumice fill in], a snack and a mug - coffee and milo will be provided in the clearing. Bike optional [for riding home on - for those who don't want to waste all that altitude].
