As Alpin is one of the motels closest to the forest, you can ride directly to the trails via a very short road ride.

We have a lot of mountain-bikers coming to stay with us and have supported the last two Mountain Bike Maps with advertising.
Sala Street is a great area to stay if you are wanting to get straight into the forest and not worry about a vehicle. Our local short cut to the bottom of Long Mile Road is very handy but not well known.
We have four townhouses which have their own garaging - great for people who love their bikes to be safe at night, and somewhere dry where they can work on them if necessary.
We also have a good variety of other units, most with individual spa pools (bliss after a long ride) and we have plenty of other garaging, hoses for muddy bikes, trail maps available etc.
Steve and our son Robbie are keen mountain-bikers and always ready to lead new bikers into the trails if they are unfamiliar with the route.
East West Apartments have a range of quality bikes for hire (for guests only) suitable for road or the local bike tracks, parks etc. and local mountain bike tracks. Self ride or guided tours available.
All bikes are professionally checked quarterly, and fully kitted with tyre fix kits helmets, pump, bike locks, high viz vests - Maps are available.
Stuart, as a track and mountain bike enthusiast, operates a bike hire service from East West, and also provides a short familiarisation tour of local tracks to assist you on your way, if required. Please Note -East West have year round thermally heated swimming pool & spas. Exactly what you need after a days riding!
The fully self contained, 2 bed, cottage opens out onto a patio and garden which overlooks bush and farmland. The loft has separate access and is intimate but spacious.
Bike washing facilities and safe storage. Close to a forest access point that will provide a different and fun way of riding the forest. We have some riding DVDs that are worth watching. Gregg rides XC and can provide information on the trails.
